Benedict Jan Tabor Baloncio, DM, LPT is a distinguished financial executive, management scholar, and educator with over two decades of leadership in the banking and finance sector. He currently serves as the Branch Manager for Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) in Cagayan de Oro City, building upon a successful career trajectory at Security Bank, BPI, and Metrobank.

A Licensed Professional Teacher, Dr. Baloncio holds a Doctor of Management from Capitol University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. Advancing his lifelong commitment to pedagogical excellence, he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education major in Early Childhood Education. This unique intersection of corporate strategy and advanced pedagogy allows him to effectively bridge the gap between industry and academe, specializing in strategic planning, portfolio management, and organizational performance improvement.

Dr. Baloncio has dedicated more than 15 years to higher education and currently facilitates graduate school courses at Capitol University and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP). His leadership and civic contributions have been recognized through prestigious accolades, including the 2020 Security Bank Outstanding Branch Emerald Award and being named one of the Top 10 Outstanding Volunteers of the Philippines in 2009. A past president of the Oro Bankers Club (2020–2022), he continues to drive community and human capital development as the Learning & Development Chair for the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP-CDO) and the chapter president for the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Torch.
