Benedict Jan Tabor Baloncio, DM, LPT, is a distinguished business leader and educator with over two decades of experience in the banking and finance industry. He currently serves as the Branch Manager for Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) in Cagayan de Oro, following a successful leadership tenure at Security Bank, BPI, and Metrobank.

A Licensed Professional Teacher, Dr. Baloncio holds a Doctor of Management from Capitol University and an MBA from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. This dual expertise in executive leadership and pedagogy allows him to bridge the gap between industry and academe, specializing in portfolio management, strategic planning, and performance improvement.

In addition to his corporate achievements, he has been a dedicated educator for more than 15 years across various universities and colleges, and is currently teaching Graduate School at Capitol University and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP). His commitment to excellence is reflected in accolades such as the 2020 Security Bank Outstanding Branch Emerald Award and being named one of the Top 10 Outstanding Volunteers of the Philippines in 2009. A former President of the Oro Banker Club (2020–2022), he currently serves as the Learning & Development Chair for the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP-CDO) and Membership Chair for the Rotary Club of CDO Torch. He brings a unique blend of corporate leadership and pedagogical expertise, fostering synergy between industry and academe.
